See your own rights and request more rights Back to Top
You have several ways to see your rights :

By using the "Rights" menu and clicking on "My rights..."

By clicking on the "character" icon beside your name in the list of users or by clicking on your name to make the menu "My rights..." appear
So you can see this window. It displays the group you belong to,
the rights you already have and those that you can request :

The rights you already have are checked and disabled, those you do not have but that you can request are unchecked.
To ask for more rights, check the rights that you want to have and/or choose the group that you want to belong to in the list of groups. Persons who can grant those rights to you will receive your request.
There's a faster way to request the right to send your audio/video. When you do not have the right to send your audio/video, click on the button "Ask to speak..." :

You can see the rights of an other person only if he/she has a lower level according to his/her rights.

By using the "Rights" menu, clicking on "Rights of..." and choosing the name of the person

By using the list of users by clicking on the icon of the person, or right-clicking on his/her name
- Modify the rights -> The window with the rights of the person is opening.
-
Modify the group -> The list of groups is displayed. The group to which the person belongs is checked.
So you can check an other group to affect it to the person. - Give the max rights of the group -> Give all the rights that the group of the person can have.
- Kick user -> Only for the administrators to kick the person from the meeting.
The window with the rights of an other person is the same than the one with your rights. The only difference is the button "Ask", changed to "Apply" to validate the changes :

To modify the rights of the person, you have to choose the group to which you want the person to belong in the list of groups or check/uncheck the rights that you want to give/remove. The disabled rights can not be removed.
There is a faster way to allow, or not, a person to send his/her audio/video. All attendees whose the right to send their audio/video can be given or removed have a microphone beside their name in the list of users. If the user can send his/her audio/video, you can see that :
On the other hand, if the person can not send his/her audio/video, it is displayed like that :
You can click on the microphone to give or remove the right to send the audio/video.
