Using the White board

The White board helps you collaborate and discuss concepts with other participants. The participants can explain their point of view using the white board to draw flowcharts and any other diagrams to elaborate their concepts.
Opening a White board

- On the Create menu, click White board to open a White board.

Using the toolbar you can add text, draw geometric shapes, and use Pencil to draw freehand markings. The White board toolbar features you can use include:
Opening a new white board
- To clear the white board and start a fresh discussion
- Click New, and then Click Yes to save the existing white board content as an image, or
- On the Confirm dialog box, click No to delete the existing content and open a new white board.
Opening an image
- You can open an earlier white board image, or other image files you need using the white board. To open an image file:
- On the White board toolbar, click Open to open the Open dialog box.
- Browse to the image file location and select the file.
- On the Open dialog box, click Open to load the image on the white board.
Saving the White board
- You can save all the contents of the white board as an image file. To save the white board:
- On the White board toolbar, click Save to open the Save As dialog box.
- Browse to the location where you want to save white board.
- On the Save As dialog box, in the File name text box, type a name, and then click Save to save the file as an image.
Using the Draw tools
- You can use the draw tool to draw rectangles, filled rectangles, or the Pencil to draw freehand.
- Click Pencil, and select the appropriate Size and Color. On the white board, drag the mouse pointer to draw freehand.
- Click Line to draw straight lines on the white board.
- Click Rectangle, and drag the mouse pointer to draw a rectangle.
- Click Ellipse, and drag the mouse pointer to draw an ellipse.
- Click the Color picker to make Color available, click
to open the Set Color dialog box, choose a color, and then click OK to select the color.
Using the Text Tool
- On the toolbar, click Insert Text to open the Text to Draw dialog box.
- On the text to Draw dialog box, in the Text text box, type the text you want to insert, and then click OK.
- On the white board, click to insert the text.
