All the applications in the workspace can be used in both 3D and 2D view. However, if the 3D view is disabled while configuring the Communication Client, then you can join the meeting only in a 2D view. We suggest you use 2D view if your computer has a lower configuration or you do not have the required graphics components installed.

When the 3D view is enabled, the meeting starts in a 3D view, by default. You can switch between the 3D and 2D views anytime throughout the meeting. 2D views are more useful when you are using the various available applications such as the Text Editor or White board. 3D view is better fit to see other participants' actions, and get a feeling of a meeting room.
